The Process:

1. The cheques are passed through the combined MICR* reader/image scanner.

2. Images are captured including code line and cheque value details.

3. A running balance is created and the batch value is automatically totalled.

4. The batch is balanced by printing and scanning a credit slip. The image and code line details are automatically captured.

5. The add listing is printed and sent with the cheques and credit slip to the bank/ processing centre.

6. The captured details and images are saved into the database/image archive for easy recall.
