Inability to process can be for many different reasons, from too much demand, systems failure & staff absences. All can be critical to the business.

If the cost of implementing a contingency service is free or low enough then it makes the decision making process simple. PSL has been providing such services for years and can help you avoid risk.

What would be the effect on your business if systems fail?  The cost of resolving an emergency situation is difficult to predict, but generally recognised to be high and something that at the time we’d gladly throw money at. One must also consider the effect on employees, suppliers and customers.

Its hard to imagine the impact of failing to transmit a payroll, or having to write to a customer base explaining why a fault has caused non collection. Its not just negative publicity but remedial activity can also be costly.

Services and fees.

Two services are available:

Connection only:

Full integration documentation and support is provided to the point of successful testing.
Communication with your bank is required in order to link PSL as an approved processor.
No transactions are processed on a regular basis. This service is free of charge. If emergency cover is required a flat fee is charged each transaction, please ask for a quotation.
This service is free of charge, we cannot guarantee immediate service upon request as paid for customers come first. Our working hours are 9 – 5.30 PM.

Connection plus continued testing.

As above but with continued testing at six monthly intervals. A fee commensurate with the level of testing and/or processing is charged.  Please ask for a quotation.

Data formatting, security and submission.

Various formats are available upon request, secure submission methods are according to the directives by the payment schemes.
